Jayalalithaa to attend National Development Council meet

Chennai, Dec 24 (IANS) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J.Jayalalithaa will attend the National Development Council (NDC) meeting to be held in New Delhi Thursday on the the 12th Five Year Plan.

Chennai, Dec 24 — Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J.Jayalalithaa will attend the National Development Council (NDC) meeting to be held in New Delhi Thursday on the the 12th Five Year Plan.

According to an official statement issued here Monday, Jayalalithaa will participate in the NDC meeting to be chaired by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Jayalalithaa chaired a meeting of state ministers and officials and deliberated on the points to be discussed at the NDC meeting, it added.

The chief minister will also attend the swearing-in ceremony of Narendra Modi as Gujarat chief minister at Ahmedabad Wednesday.
