"New Zealand dairy farmers in particular recognise that Mono’s pressure cavity pump systems are more powerful and cost effective than centrifugal pump systems ... Mono’s PC pumps are enabling farmers to beat rising energy and maintenance costs while also providing a far superior method of managing effluent irrigation management."

UDF seeks strict action against law breakers

Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 15 — The Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) Tuesday asked the government to take strict action against all those who broke the law during a pro-Left employees' strike.

The indefinite strike was launched last week by the pro-Left government employees and teachers against a government move to implement the contributory pension scheme for fresh recruits in government service.

The protest was called off early Monday.

"The CPI-M sponsored strike was a needless one and it failed to win support not only from their own employees but also from the people," UDF convenor P.P. Thankachen told reporters.

"We have asked the government to see that strict action is taken against all those who caused damage," he said.
