New Delhi, Jan 23 (IANS) Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit Wednesday met children from various states who would be conferred bravery awards on Republic Day and described them as "role models" for others.

New Delhi, Jan 23 — Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit Wednesday met children from various states who would be conferred bravery awards on Republic Day and described them as "role models" for others.

"Dikshit individually met each and every child to share their experiences of bravery. She appreciated their courage and commitment during difficult situations," said a statement from the Chief Minister's Office.

"They have become role model for others. We all are proud of them. They would continue to inspire other children," added the statement quoting the chief minister.
