Cairo, Feb 13 — At least 10 people were killed when a truck collided with three cars on a desert road leading to Egypt's Alexandria city, Xinhua reported.

The accident led to closing of the road for hours before traffic authorities managed to restore traffic flow, official news agency MENA said.

Alexandria is around 220 km from the capital Cairo.

Transportation Minister Hatem Abdel-Latif recently said road accidents in Egypt kill around 10,000 every year.

The lack of highway security monitoring system, poor road maintenance and negligence of traffic rules are behind the high rate of road accidents in the country.

Though both sides seem more unwilling to compromise their views than ever, and anti-Israel proxies attempt racist pogroms in the West, one thing is clear to every rational party to the conflict: it's going to be much harder to solve this pr ...

Gaza Crisis Illuminates a Grave New World

Jul 11 2014 9:46am CDT | Source: Big Government

Bible site restored – boasts World Heritage status

Jun 7 2014 5:46pm CDT | Source: WND

(Times of Israel) The Canaanites who lived in Hatzor during the biblical era were pretty smug. And for good reason: Not only was Hatzor a metropolis comparable in size to the biggest cities in powerful Babylonia and Egypt, but it also towered above the Via Maris – the main trade route utilized in ancient times. They had other reasons for complacency as well, for their military capabilities were formidable and their fortifications dauntin ...
