Islamabad, Feb 14 (IANS) At least eight people were killed and over 22 injured in two separate blasts in Pakistan's northwestern tribal region Thursday, Xinhua reported.

Islamabad, Feb 14 — At least eight people were killed and over 22 injured in two separate blasts in Pakistan's northwestern tribal region Thursday, Xinhua reported.

At least four people were killed and 13 injured in the afternoon when a bomb ripped through a busy market in Orakzai Agency. The nature of the blast could not be immediately confirmed.

In another incident earlier, at least four people were killed and nine wounded as a landmine blast hit a passenger wagon in the same region.

No group or militant organisation had so far claimed responsibility for any of the blasts.
