Moscow, Feb 18 (IANS/RIA Novosti) Three people were killed in a shootout which broke out in a cafe in the capital of Russia's North Caucasus region of Dagestan, late Sunday.

Moscow, Feb 18 (IANS/RIA Novosti) Three people were killed in a shootout which broke out in a cafe in the capital of Russia's North Caucasus region of Dagestan, late Sunday.

"A group of men started shooting at each other, three people died on site as a result. The circumstances are now being established," said a source in the region's investigative committee.

It was yet to be ascertained what caused the shooting.
