Paris, Feb 19 — France and China would launch a new round of cooperation and exchanges to further their historic relations, French President Francois Hollande has said.

Addressing a reception here marking the Chinese Lunar New Year, Hollande Monday said some cabinet members have visited China after the new French government was sworn in last May.

A number of French entrepreneurs are developing their business in China, an important country in the world, he said, adding that he would also pay a visit to China this year, reported Xinhua.

Hollande voiced hope that France would establish a mutually beneficial relationship with China to boost its economic growth, saying his country looks forward to investment from Chinese enterprises.

Cracking the ISIS Conundrum - Obama and the Arab World

Sep 23 2014 1:14pm CDT | Source: Politics - The Huffington Post

One year is a short time in politics. In the summer of 2013 Obama reportedly seriously considered launching air strikes against the Assad regime for using chemical weapons against its civilians. Earlier, Obama had publicly drawn a line in the sand, a red line saying that there would be consequences if Assad took that route. French President Francois Hollande had readied his aircraft to join American aircraft for the ...

Is Burger King an economic patriot?

Sep 22 2014 6:35pm CDT | Source: WND

“Merchants have no country. The mere spot they stand on does not constitute so strong an attachment as that from which they draw their gains.” Jefferson’s brutal verdict comes to mind in the fierce debate over inversions, those decisions by U.S. companies to buy foreign firms to move their headquarters abroad and renounce their U.S. citizenship – to evade the U.S. corporate tax rate of 35 percent. U.S. execu ...
