Romney Blast Hillary and Obama for "Bend Over Backward" Appeasement

Aug 31 2014 12:54pm CDT | Source: Big Government

Mitt Romney appeared on WNYM's "The Cats Round Table" with John Catsimatidis today and had some harsh words for both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama when it came to foreign policy. "Hillary Clinton and her boss Barack Obama were extraordinarily naive and misguided in describing a 'reset' with Russia—her smiling ear-to-ear with a big red button that says 'reset' on it, giving it ...

The Myth of a Post-Racial America

Aug 28 2014 8:39pm CDT | Source: Politics - The Huffington Post

The election of Barack Obama was the Lexington and Concord in the latest great battle of race in America. We are a nation at war with itself. For all of our desire to move beyond the narrow confines of many of the events of our tragic history, we cannot. The president's election gave new life to what had been lying dangerously dormant for the better part of 50 years. Perhaps it's an unspoken concer ...

Has Hillary ever been right?

Aug 28 2014 6:51pm CDT | Source: WND

Sen. Rand Paul raises an interesting question: When has Hillary Clinton ever been right on foreign policy? The valkyrie of the Democratic Party says she urged President Obama to do more to aid Syrian rebels years ago. And last summer, she supported air strikes on Bashar Assad’s regime. Had we followed her advice and crippled Assad’s army, ISIS might be in Damascus today, butchering Christians and Alawites and aiding the Islamic State in Iraq in overrunning Baghdad. But if the folly of ...

Can Abdullah Gül Save Turkish Democracy?

Aug 27 2014 9:47am CDT | Source: Politics - The Huffington Post

On Thursday, Abdullah Gül, Turkey's last indirectly elected president, will leave office after seven years. Officially, he'll have no role in either Turkey's government or in the Justice and Development Party (AKP) that his successor, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, leads and that Gül himself co-founded with Erdoğan in 2001. Erdoğan's victory in Turkey's first direct presidential election on August 11 cleared the way for his plans to transform Tur ...
