The Obamanation explained

Jul 22 2014 6:15pm CDT | Source: WND

China's Muslim's Observe Ramadan
The question has been asked many times over the last five years: What is Barack Obama doing? Why is he inviting massive numbers of illegal aliens, including children, to risk their lives to swarm our southern border? Why has he created a national health-care system that is unsustainable economically in the long term and is creating crisis in the short term? Why is he turning down the opportunity to buy oil from our neighbor to the north and forcing Canada to sell it to China instead? ...

Why is Hollywood silent on border crisis?

Jul 22 2014 6:13pm CDT | Source: WND

China's Muslim's Observe Ramadan
What’s the deal with Hollywood? Usually they fall all over themselves to get to a microphone to pontificate about the latest injustice in the world. So how come we only hear crickets about the crisis on the border? The humanitarian crisis taking place on our border with Mexico is nothing new. It has been brewing for years, even decades, and most of the voices warning of the impending disaster fell on deaf ears. While thousands upon thousands of illegal immigra ...

Hello, world – my name is Israel

China's Muslim's Observe Ramadan
Hello, world. My name is Israel. Can we talk? If you’re reluctant to shake my hand, let me assure you of my legitimacy. In fact, I’m the most legitimate nation on earth! My claim to my little slice of land is endorsed by the Bible and the United Nations. Russia is half the size of the moon. Is Russia’s existence legitimized by the Bible and the U.N.? Or Britain’s, China’s, Germany’s, France’s, America’s? I’m told I’m good at fighting. I hate ...

Vladimir Putin’s Awkward, Hypocritical Relationship With Separatists

Jul 22 2014 1:28pm CDT | Source: ThinkProgress

Will Freeman is an intern with Think Progress. CREDIT: AP Images Russia just passed a new law promising increased penalties, including heavy fines or up to four years in prison, for making public calls for separatism — the ultimate irony for a country that is actively fueling a separatist movement just over the border in Ukraine. Over the years, President Vladimir Putin has made it his trademark in speeches and even New York Times op-eds to call out the U.S. on flouti ...

Stop Inversions with Tax Cuts

Jul 22 2014 1:23pm CDT | Source: Downsizing Government

Chris EdwardsThe corporate inversion trend tells us that global tax competition is intense and that U.S. tax reform is long overdue. Our combined federal-state corporate tax rate of 40 percent is far higher than the rates of our trading partners. Inversions are a bid by companies to create self-help tax reform while Congress sits on its hands.U.S. companies compete in foreign markets against firms based in countries ...

Downing of MH-17, Ukrainian Crisis Lay Bare US, European Weakness

Jul 22 2014 1:05pm CDT | Source: Big Government

FC Bayern Muenchen v Arsenal - UEFA Champions League Round of 16
The downing of Malaysia flight MH17 casts new light on just how inept and decadent the United States and Europe have become. Faced with Russia’s annexation of the Crimea and attempts to repeat in eastern Ukraine, the best Western Europe and the United States have mustered are strong words and token sanctions on top Russian officials and several companies. That’s hardly enough to deter Vladimir Putin’s ambitions to make Russia the domi ...
