Moscow, June 23 — A plane believed to be carrying US intelligence fugitive Edward Snowden arrived in Moscow from Hong Kong, from where the US was seeking his extradition on charges of espionage. There is speculation that he might now fly on to another country, BBC reported.

The Hong Kong government said Washington had failed to meet the requirements for extradition.

Snowden, an intelligence contractor, fled to Hong Kong in May after revealing details of internet and phone surveillance by US intelligence on countries including India, Pakistan, China and Iran.

Pew Survey: GOP Becoming Less Libertarian on Foreign Policy

Sep 12 2014 3:09pm CDT | Source: Big Government

Republicans may be moving away from a more libertarian foreign policy approach after the Islamic State's public beheadings of two American journalists. A recent Pew Research poll led the Los Angeles Times to note that the GOP's "libertarian tide on foreign policy, which waxed strongly over the last four years, has begun to recede in the face of growing public fears about Islamic militancy in the Mideast." According to the Pew survey, "fewer conservatives are wo ...

A Nation of Laws?

Sep 11 2014 9:55am CDT | Source: Politics - The Huffington Post

HUFFPOLLSTER: Terrorism Fears Rise, But Few Call It Most Important Issue

Sep 11 2014 7:44am CDT | Source: Politics - The Huffington Post

Media fret over dangerous world they helped create

Sep 10 2014 12:28pm CDT | Source: WND

(Accuracy in Media) — How did the Islamic State go from being a jayvee team to an imminent threat to America in just a short time? The headline in last Friday’s Washington Times said it all: “Islamic State using leaked Snowden info to evade U.S. intelligence.” Rowan Scarborough points the finger at former NSA contractor Edward Snowden, now living in Russia under the protection of Vladimir Putin’s secret police. Politico Columnist Pretty Sure Glenn Greenwald Has 'Peaked'

Sep 4 2014 1:31pm CDT | Source: Politics - The Huffington Post

Over at Politico, Michael Hirsh is wondering if Glenn Greenwald -- one of the select few journalists to whom former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden entrusted his cache of purloined NSA documents -- has already "peaked." I suppose that if Greenwald has peaked, it would be bad news, since the former Guardian reporter has taken his game to Pierre Omidyar's startup journalism enterprise, First Look Media. This is ...
