Tel Aviv, June 24 — A Sudanese migrant worker stabbed and wounded six people here in Israel, police said.

The injured include three Israeli citizens and three foreign workers, police told Xinhua.

All the injured, including a 67-year-old man with moderate wounds, were sent to hospital Sunday.

Police believe that the background to the incident was a fight between two Sudanese migrants. Witnesses tried to break off the fight between the two and were stabbed as well.

Police have apprehended the suspect.

There are approximately 50,000 African migrants, mainly from Eritrea and South Sudan, staying in Israel.

Hamas: We're already digging new terror tunnels

Aug 29 2014 7:22pm CDT | Source: WND

TEL AVIV – Four days into a cease-fire, Hamas is already starting to construct new tunnels in the Gaza Strip, Hamas sources claimed to WND. The Israel Defense Forces had no immediate comment on the Hamas boast. One of the primary objectives of Israel’s military campaign in Gaza the past few weeks has been to demolish the series of tunnels that snaked throughout Gaza, with exits both inside Israel and across the Egypt border. Hamas uses the Egypt-Gaza tunnels to smu ...

Hamas using GPS-guided mortars from Russia

Aug 27 2014 7:31pm CDT | Source: WND

TEL AVIV – In the week leading up to Tuesday’s cease-fire announcement, Hamas deployed an alarming new weapon: Russian-manufactured mortars with accurate GPS capabilities. Senior Egyptian security officials say Hamas purchased the precision mortars from rebels who looted Muammar Gadhafi’s reserves after the Libyan strongman was toppled by a U.S.-NATO campaign in 2011. The rebels also reportedly acquired thousands of shoulder-launched surface-to-air ...

Aug 25 2014 10:52am CDT | Source: WND

TEL AVIV – Saudi Arabia assisted Israel in flying the drone that Tehran claims it shot down near an Iranian nuclear site, according to Jordanian security officials. The security officials did not detail the kind of assistance provided by the Saudis, but it is likely to have included the use of a Saudi airbase. The officials confirmed the Iranian Revolutionary Guard’s claim Monday of downing the Israeli drone near the Natanz uranium enrichment facility. The Arabic-language Al-Ala ...

Israeli soldier testifies to miracle in Gaza

Aug 23 2014 5:15pm CDT | Source: WND

One of the many Israeli soldiers who have been dispatched to Gaza over the years to eliminate rocket-launching equipment and lower the threat of destruction to Israeli citizens has testified to the miracles he witnessed. Such as a day of firefights, explosions and terror, with the only resulting injury a scratch that was handled with a baby wipe. The testimony comes from Ariel Siegelman, who was with an Israel campaign a few years ago. The same issue, arose, ho ...

Iran rushes to rescue Hamas, open new front

Aug 20 2014 7:20pm CDT | Source: WND

Sinai Desert TEL AVIV – With Hamas slowly running out of rockets, the Iranian-backed Hezbollah terrorist organization is sending cells to the Egyptian Sinai Peninsula to possibly open a new front against the Jewish state, according to informed Middle Eastern security officials. The officials said Hamas is thought to have between 4,000 to 6,000 long-range rockets remaining in its arsenal, enough for between 40 to 60 days of sustained attacks against Israel if it launches about 100 rockets per ...

Sources: U.S. backs threat to try Israel for war crimes

Aug 13 2014 8:03pm CDT | Source: WND

TEL AVIV – The Palestinians have a behind-the-scenes understanding with the Obama administration to use the Palestinian threat of pursuing international war crimes against Israel to force the Jewish state to agree to a long-term cease-fire, according to Egyptian diplomatic sources involved in truce negotiations. Israel and Egypt view the understanding as a tactic to pressure Israel and not as a serious plan to go to the International Criminal Court, or ICC, the sources said. ...

Britain's Hard-Left 'Stop the War' Group Bemoans Anti-Hamas Guardian Advert

Aug 11 2014 10:23am CDT | Source: Big Government

Britain's ironically named 'Stop the War' coalition has effectively come out in defence of Hamas following a newspaper advert which highlighted the terrorist group's human rights abuses. The advert by Nobel Laureate Elie Wiesel was scheduled to feature in today's Guardian newspaper, but was staunchly opposed by the group which recently called for war against Israel, in direct contravention to the organisation's name and raison- ...
