Jihadis by any other name

Aug 29 2014 4:54pm CDT | Source: WND

The terms “Republican” and “Democrat” have morphed into two of many euphemisms for despotic progressivism. We are all born despotic progressives. In the civil society, children are raised to assume honorable roles as productive and independently self-sufficient citizens in a state of liberty under just law. A child deprived of an honorable upbringing never graduates from their infantile demeanor. Lacking empathy and restraint under just law, they beco ...

A serious threat to U.S. national security

Aug 29 2014 4:51pm CDT | Source: WND

On the heels of Barack Obama’s mind-numbing admission concerning the lack of a “strategy” for dealing with ISIS in Syria, even worse news is breaking: ISIS is now operating within Mexico! Thus, the unsecured border with Mexico now involves a serious terrorist threat that even Barack Obama will be forced to take seriously. As reported: “Islamic terrorist groups are operating in the Mexican border city of Ciudad Juarez and planning to attack the United States ...

Gosar: Go After Obama's Executive Actions After Winning the Senate

Aug 29 2014 4:38pm CDT | Source: Big Government

The risk of another government shutdown before the midterm election is too great to use the upcoming continuing resolution as leverage against President Obama’s executive action on immigration, according to Arizona Republican Rep. Paul Gosar.  “It would be nice to be able to use the purse strings. The problem with that is you saw what happened in October of last year,” he said, estimating that Republicans lost the Virginia governo ...

HUFFPOST HILL - Here's To Six More Years Of Senator Thad Cochran

Aug 29 2014 4:08pm CDT | Source: Politics - The Huffington Post

And Chelsea Clinton stepped away from her job at NBC News, where network executives plan to burn a $50,000 pile of cash each month to replace her. This is HUFFPOST HILL for Friday ...

Mo Brooks: 'Democrats Crave a Federal Government Shutdown'

Aug 29 2014 3:28pm CDT | Source: Big Government

It would not be wise to risk a government shutdown over President Obama’s executive actions on immigration when the GOP is so close to taking the Senate and can confront Obama later as a unified legislature, according to Alabama Republican Rep. Mo Brooks. “There may be a very, very tiny minority of Republicans who are willing to risk a federal government shutdown over the immigration issue. I am not one o ...

Blue State Blues: Here's a Strategy--Declare a War on ISIS, and Win It

Aug 29 2014 2:58pm CDT | Source: Big Government

"But I don't want to put the cart before the horse. We don't have a strategy yet." With those words, President Barack Obama summarized the weakness and incompetence of his own administration. Nearly six years into office, and several years after the Syrian civil war began, and the avatar of "smart power" still cannot figure out what to do. He is paralyzed by his own postmodernism: to act is to lose the moral high ground of perspective, to ...
